Dr. A. Devaraju was born in a small village called Vanichampatti near Salem. After his schooling at Salem, he joined the Thanthai Periyar Government Institute of Technology, Vellore for his Undergraduate Engineering Course in Mechanical Engineering. He did his M.Tech. (Energy Conservation and Management) at Bhararhidasan University, Trichy. He also completed his MBA at Alagappa University. He has done high quality nuclear research work and published 15 original research papers in international journals and conferences. He obtained his Ph.D. degree at Anna University, Chennai from the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He has served as a teaching faculty for more than 15 years in Engineering colleges.
